Poetry Ride will not be satisfied with just one city in Sweden, but establishes itself in two places. Stockholm, perhaps the most cosmopolitan city on the shores of the Baltic Sea, will have the pleasure of hosting the Poetry Ride. The chosen location is on international grounds, as the Poetry Riders will perform their work at the Finnish Institute in Stockholm. This is the first time the Finnish Institute in Estonia will organize an event as a guest of an another Finnish Cultural Institute, meaning history will be made in more ways than one. Stockholm in the host of variour poetry events, including the Stockholm Poesifestivalen, and as the capital it has also been the home of such famous authors as August Strindberg, Eyvind Johnson, Evert Taube and Astrid Lindgren.
